Chuck Norris riding into the Super Bowl on the back of Godzilla and round house kicking the crowd is no where near as awesome as this priceless poon magnet. When I was just moments from sending my $100k to some needy neo-hippie help group, I stumbled onto this gem. It was like the heavens opened and Jesus himself appeared with this same watch on. I mean how can you not follow Jesus when he's rocking a watch of this caliber. So I asked "What would Jesus do?" Jesus pimp smacked me and said "Forget those hippies, buy the watch!" I was like "HECK YEAH." I busted out my Discover card and bought this rocking piece of art. I mean its art but its also practical too. Like when I take my summer trips to the Marianas Trench, I have no more worries that I am going to miss Tea Time back on the yacht, because water ruined my watch again. It can withstand the immense pressures of the deep due to the wicked awesome titanium. Deep seas, cant beat this. Bullets cant beat this. Heck, I can deflect cruise missiles and the apocalypse. With a watch like this you don't need to tell time, you tell people what time it is.

This reminds me one of the training days:

The day before our lieutenant informed us that tomorrow was going to be a hard training day as we were going to do some fast turn training with one of the hornets. So we joked about how we actually had to leave our brakeroom (The usual stuff).

So the day comes and we were 16 strong group with the hornet (Largest possible in the field) .
We started the training consisting refuel, rearm and all other secondary stuffs. the scenario was that the enemy had a bomber fleet heading our way and the hornet just returned from the first strike against the bombers and it has to be rearmed and refueled to hit it again before the bombers can hit us!

The rearming has to be done in X amount of time (X=Ridiculously low amount). So we started the arming, disarming and rearming over and over and over again till we got in right + in time and i can tell you that one of those missiles weighs a lot, i mean even with five others!
Anyways when you carry those missiles 10 per aircraft, your arms will start bruising up and when your arms starts to bruising up the carrying starts to hurt even more and more and more and more that seemed like forever!
Not only that, but for some [insert randomized reason here] we started to loose people(Not part of the training), until we had only 7 of us left.

Then we had the little briefing to assign positions for each of us, when suddenly it seemed like everybody got a spike of motivation and asskicking!
Everybody grabbed that feeling and pushed as much as they could in the what would most likely be the last cycle we were physically capable to pull off, so basically everyone of us used the last of bit of strength we had on that one last burn.
And at that point i knew that if that was not good enough we could not do the performance again, even with unlimited amount of time (There were still few hours of the training left).

So after the mind numbing, hand killing round our lieutenant calls us to a circle again and asks how do we think that it wen't.
I say to that: Considering the state of my hands (I rolled up my sleeves and showed to my hands to him which were completely bruised and shaking like a minmatar without a duckt tape roll) and the strength of our crew, it went reletively well.
After the lieutenant checked his note book and finally got over the sight of my destroyed hands he answered that we did it in excellent time not only that we did no mistakes and with undermanned and very tired crew we did it in near record time.
At this point i think i might have seen a smile.

At this point we normally would have cheered and maybe even jumped in to air, but the capacitor was empty.
Nobody said anything, we just exhanged "Yaay we did it your guys, we are totally heroes" looks and returned to the barracks for some well earned r&r

Yeah. Those high tech company buses have been annoying residents in SF for almost a decade now. They will illegally take up municipal bus stops and pile up 3 and 4 deep in residential neighborhoods. Keep in mind that the almost the entirety of SF is tiny 2-way streets like in Europe, so there really is not the room for this kind of stuff.

And it looks like San Franciscans have had it. This is the 2nd Tech Bubble in the past 20 years, and it's proving even more devastating to the economically disadvantaged in that city. There are ads for folks trying to split rent on efficiency apartments where the 2nd person gets a sleeping bag on the couch....for $1800 a month for the half. It's just something that cannot realistically sustain itself. Where the heck are service workers supposed to live in town ?? A town of only the rich cannot exist for long.

You're just a little off-track....due to the unique nature of San Fran mostly.

Yes, buses are better than 30 cars. But they should do pick-ups downtown, where it is set up for this kind of thing. These buses, sometimes 4 or 5 at once, start warming up their engines in residential neighborhoods at 5:30 AM and do indeed block the streets in some cases.

Also, these are city dwellers who are bused out to the Burbs to work, then bused back into the city in the evening. Kinda backwards from everywhere else n America. And these types only eat out and go to businesses that are new expensive and trendy. They do not support the institutional businesses of the city that have been there sometimes since time immemorial it seems. If you visited San Fran only before 1995, there really is not much left at all that you would find familiar.

Yup. Pulling out "I don't like it so it's not art", or "it's ugly so it's not art" is such an antiquated idea, it's astonishing it's still lurking around.

The Medici's, and other dictatorial private entities, did a rather excellent job of brainwashing European culture into thinking about art their way, and their way only. All those "beautiful images" did nothing but support the idea of the greatness of the Medici family and their values. All that gold and formal settings and landscapes........

......that are depictions of the "perfect world" they were striving for. Nothing outside of their "rules" of what to paint and how to paint it was allowed. Folks like Michelangelo and Titian were straight-jacketed into maintaining this status quo towards the aggrandizement of these patron families.

In other words, all those lovely canvases from 1500 - 1850's are extremely repressive, finely controlled images, ultimately no different in idea from what Mr H. was determining as "proper art" during his little tenure that were made only to support the furtherance of the ideals of the folks actually paying for the art.

At least now artists have freedom to be artists.

So, ironically what we call "good old traditional art" is born of a fascistic mindset that managed to hold it's power until the Impressionists said "screw this crap".

I understand that but what makes "fine art" vs "commercial art"...like what is the difference between them and how does one tell them apart?

To me all art looks the same....its a picture someone drew/painted.

Seems to me people are getting mistaken about just exactly what Commercial Art truly is. I studied Art for 8 years with the last 4 years mainly focused in Commercial Art. Granted that was a lot of years ago but the talent and basic knowledge still remains.

Anyway, Commercial Art is a creative service, basically it's art created for commercial purposes used for advertising. The term 'Commercial Art' is more or less viewed as old fashioned now and has been replaced with more contemporary terms such as 'Graphic Design' or 'Advertising Art', etc.

Commercial Art traditionally includes designing Book Covers, Signs, Posters, Brochures, Flyers, Business Cards, Letterheads, Logo's, etc, as well as usage in Magazines and high tech media such as TV / Cable / Internet Commercials. All the various art mediums are used in the field of Commercial Art. Everything from water colors, pastels, ink, paint, sculpting, etc, up to and including photography and video. Even various construction materials such as paper, wood, plastic, metal, ceramics, etc, are used in Commercial Art.

Whether Commercial Art is done via modern, contemporary, classic or even with cartoon media, it's still Commercial Art due to being used in advertisements that promote the sale or acceptance of products, services and or new ideas that's directed to a large portion of the general population, from the average household family to corporate business on up to and including politics.

Odd with how prolifically fecund that rabbits are, that they are not used more as a food source. I only ever saw rabbit about 3 times on menus in San Fran at French Bistros only.

And on the subject of alts, I can't tell you of anyone I know with only one account anymore. And I know I'm on the low end with only two accounts. Hell even so called "casual" players have a couple of accounts.

The current mechanics of the game encourages and rewards players with multiple accounts and I don't think that would ever change. If CCP started a crusade of killing off multiboxers/multiple accounts that would be the end of Eve Online guaranteed.

Racial clothes bug me, or rather the inability to obtain them is what bugs me. I've had a couple people message me wanting my shirt (it's Gallente-only) and I've seen a jacket (that is Caldari-only) that I'd like to grab.

Furthermore, there are clothing assets available that we can't get - from certain colors of existing clothes, to whole new outfits. There's several outfits in screenshots that probably exist but aren't patched into the client, and there were some outfits accidentally leaked on SiSi a year ago that have sadly disappeared.

Anys was a fashion model before becoming a capsulier, so she's very disappointed in the current lack of fashion options.

I don't watch it myself, as I'm not big into reality shows either, but the little bit I've seen of it, it's not bad.


One of these days I'd like to check out that game. Currently I'm playing Tomb Raider 2013 and enjoying it a lot more than expected (it was a late XMas present). Being something of a completionist, I'm scouring the levels finding every little hidden item, and thus taking a lot longer to beat the game than I should :)
